wow. those are just stunning!

I love how you took so much of the original but recreated it in your own style. I think 'Matrix' is my fav. With the image flipped and all the texture, it really is fascinating to see.

Thank you!

It's funny. When I'm doing printmaking (be it reliefs, etchings, etc.) I often think of the 'backwards' image first rather than the finished 'forward' image. Probably because I spend so much time looking and working on the matrix rather than the finished print. :)

Thank you! I'm glad I have modern technology to spice up images if doing so strikes my fancy. :D

HOLY SMOKES!!

That is a FANTASTIC concept! A relief print! That is awesome!! TANGIBLE ART!!

AND - you cut yourself!? Sacrificing your body for the craft! LIKE A BOSS! I'm going to pretend that the "red coloring done in photoshop" is actually "red coloring done with the BLOOD OF MY WOUNDS!!!!", cuz you are hardcore like that!

A BRILLIANT remix!!! WELL DONE, and THANK YOU!!!!

Wow, so powerful. I can't decide if the color or matrix is my fave. Awesome work! Such a cool and unusual medium :)

Thank you! I'm glad I included the matrix. I know I love seeing how an image is created and I thought others might like it as well. Glad to know it was the case!

Thank you!
We have such a great group of artists in Merlin fandom. I'm honored to be part of them.

This is GORGEOUS! Beautiful linework, as always, and an amazing job of reproducing these poses in a medium that requires you to draw it BACKWARD on the print. So dramatic with the ink, too, and I love it with the red on the blades. I love the textures you chose for each of their clothes, and I'm in awe of the delicate work you managed for Arthur's armor; getting lines that fine to be deep enough is really hard!!! Plus, way to take one for the team; I'm with amph, you should tell everyone it's real blood on the blades, lol. In conclusion, AMAZING, and WELL DONE!

Thank, cello! <3
Well, I cheated a bit, so it wasn't all that hard to make the image backwards. I posted a video of my process, so you can see what I did!
Working with cutters is fun, it's just being safe and smart while using the tools XD

Disturbing and horrifying and probably the most awful thing I can imagine happening to my babies, but WOWZERS.
This lends itself pretty much perfectly to a linocut. It's a very powerful picture. Really love the red accents in the coloured version!
Well done! <3

I love linocuts! And all of these are so great--all the different textures and colors. They definitely have a medieval feel.

Wow! What a wonderful way to remix the brilliant original. It really gives it even more of a legendary feel. Tragic and gorgeous.

Thank you! Glad I was able to bring something different to the table, and I felt the image would look great with that medium.
